    Fort Griffin State Park Albany

    This state park has the remaining ruins of the Historic Frontier Fort that held command of the southern plains around 1867. There are outside and indoor picnic areas that have grills, electricity and washrooms. Throughout the park there are basketball and volleyball courts and playgrounds for children.

    Colburn Park, W. Lee Winters
    This park sits beside the Elm Creek Reservoir a few minutes east of Winters. There are 14 camping sites, a fishing pier, a picnic pavilion, a volleyball court and a baseball field. Visitors are within walking distance of hiking, fishing and swimming areas.
